Emergency Medical Technician

Abundant Care Ambulance Service

Abundant Care Ambulance Service is now accepting applications for Full-Time & Part-Time Emergency Medical Technicians (A-EMT). We are a 24 hour 7 day a week company. Competitive pay and flexible shifts are available. Must have a valid Tennessee EMT license. Pay differential if you also have a Mississippi EMT license.

 

Qualifications:

  • Performs as a EMT within the scope of practice as set forth by the Medical Director and the Tennessee/Mississippi EMS Agency
  • Currently holds and maintains a Tennessee EMT license
  • Maintains current certifications in CPR and EVOC (preferred). Also within 1 year of hire date complete Pediatric Certification (PEARS, PEPP, EPC) and Trauma.
  • Must be able to lift 125lbs. independently and/or 250lbs. with a partner during transports in accordance to state laws
  • Complete required paperwork and documents appropriately and completely
  • Must be trained and licensed to drive an emergency or non-emergency vehicle in the appropriate mode using defensive driving techniques
  • Ensure that Abundant Care Ambulance Service is meeting and/or exceeding the quality of service expected
  • Ensure that Abundant Care Ambulance Service is meeting and/or exceeding all local, state, and federal requirements
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • EMT Advanced

 

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year EMT experience is preferred, but not required. Training is available.
  • Must have computer skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills

 

Required Licenses or Certifications:

  • Current EMT License
  • Drivers License with F Endorsement
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • Mississippi License in addition to a Tennessee License is a plus

Wheelchair Van Driver

ABCare Transportation

Candidates will need to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation of clients who are ambulatory or wheelchair accessible.

Candidates will need the following qualifications:

  • First Aid/CPR Certified
  • Valid Drivers License with F Endorsement
  • No Major Moving Violations within the Past 3 years
  • Must Pass a Drug/Alcohol Screening
  • Flexible Hours
  • Experience is a Plus but Not Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
